2025-2026 JR High Wrestling Team
The Bears are currently 5-6 for the season after tough matches against Cocalico, Warwick, Manheim Central, and Conestoga Valley.
The wrestling program joined in the fight against childhood cancer by teaming up with EAHS Mini-THON for the "Takedown Cancer" night vs Conestoga Valley. Wrestlers collected pledges and donations from folks out in the community for each takedown in the boys varsity match.

The Grizzly Duals
The bears went 3-2 and finished 3rd at the dual tournament with some great performances all over the team! Individual stand-outs include Jackson Greiner (5-0), Kainum NDikwe (4-1), Brogan Edgell (5-0), Michael Krebs (5-0), & Blake Griffin (5-0).

On Dec. 17th, the junior high bears defeated Garden Spot in a 51-27 dual match with stand-out performances by Weston Horst (Fall 3:18), Bryson Black (Fall 1:07), Kainum NDikwe (Fall 3:56), & Michael Krebs (Fall 40 seconds).
Cocalico Wresting Tournament
December 13th
The Bears finished 5th place scoring 119 team points.
Easton Boyer (87lb) 2nd place, Jackson Greiner (94lb) 2nd place, Bryson Black (115lb) 6th place, Brogan Edgell (138lb) 1st place, Michael Krebs (155lb) 3rd place, Blake Griffin (250lb) 4th place.
Junior High Wrestling vs. Lampeter-Strasburg
Elizabethtown jr. high boys beat Lampeter-Strasburg on Decemember 10th with the score of Etown 45 - LS 36.
The team is 1-0 to start the season. Mason Haver startied the evening off with a pin (1:10).
The match ended with two deciding victories from Kainum N'Dikwe (9-3 victory) and Brogan Edgell (pin 0:45).
The team travels to Cocalico on December 13th for a tournament.
The Bears will host Garden Spot at 4pm on December 17th.

Participation in sports is a great way of staying active and offers wonderful rewards for mental health. Being involved in sports has been proven to help students learn valuable skills for dealing with life's ups and downs. They teach youth how to interact with others and work as a team. Sports also help students become more independent and feel better about themselves and gain positive self-esteem and self-confidence.
