Elizabethtown Area High School Names New Boys Volleyball Coach

Elizabethtown Area High School proudly announces the formal appointment of John Barrick as the new head boys' volleyball coach. With an impressive background in coaching and a proven track record of success, Coach Barrick brings a wealth of experience to the Bears volleyball family.

Coach Barrick currently serves as the head girls' volleyball coach at Trinity High School, where he has demonstrated exceptional leadership by guiding the Shamrocks to three consecutive state title games. Under his guidance, Trinity secured the state championship in 2020, showcasing his ability to develop winning programs.

Before his tenure at Trinity, Coach Barrick served as Central Dauphin's head boys' volleyball coach, where he led the Rams to victory in the 3A boys' state championship in 2009.

In addition to his high school coaching experience, John is actively involved in the volleyball community, coaching at Yorktowne Volleyball Club and serving as the head volleyball coach at Central Penn College. Moreover, Coach Barrick is a board member of the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coach's Association, further underscoring his leadership within the volleyball community.
