Junior High Cheerleading
The Junior High team offers an enjoyable, exciting environment in which students learn how to handle both failure and success. Participating in school teams contributes to a healthy mind. Cheerleading helps children develop physical skills, get exercise, develop camaraderie, learn to play as a member of a team, and learn to play fair. Participation in the cheerleading program is a great way to stay active and it offers wonderful rewards for mental health. Being involved in teams has been proven to help students learn valuable skills for dealing with life's ups and downs. They teach youth how to interact with others and work as a team. Teams also help students become more independent and feel better about themselves and gain positive self-esteem and self-confidence.
