The Big "E" Athletic Booster Club

The Big 'E' Booster Club was formed in 1973 to support all student athletes and coaches in their pursuit of athletic excellence. Originally a football only booster club, the parent group was reorganized in 1992 and now supports all sports, both male and female.

Meeting Dates

The Big “E” Booster Club monthly meetings are usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month beginning at 7:00 PM. These meetings are held in the LGI Room located by the Main Office

How the Big E Booster Club Supports Our Athletes

The Big E Booster Club is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the
experience of Elizabethtown High School and Junior High athletes across all PIAA-sanctioned sports. Our support is made possible through the incredible generosity of our annual club-wide sponsors, revenue from fall sports program print advertising and sales, and our popular three seasonal sub sales.

As a club, we proudly provide:

• Senior Athlete/Parent Night: An event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating each senior athlete and their parents. Parents receive a flower, and a professional picture is taken to commemorate their achievement.
• John Lehman Memorial Awards: We are proud to award two $1,000 scholarships each year to a top senior female and male student-athlete, recognizing their academic and athletic excellence.
• Championship Awards: To acknowledge outstanding achievements, we provide monetary awards to varsity teams and/or individuals who win championships. These funds are then used by the sport to acquire clothing or equipment.
• Varsity Jackets: We help make varsity jackets more accessible! The Big E Booster Club, with the vital support of our sponsors, funds 60% (up to $100) of the cost for athletes who earn two varsity letters. One of these letters must be earned during or after their sophomore year.
• District-Wide Athletic Department Support: We provide additional support to the Athletic Department as needed, contributing to essential resources for all athletic programs. Past support has included items like Hudl camera subscriptions, field house equipment, and Capital Campaign contributions.
• End of Season Awards: To help teams recognize outstanding individual achievements, we offer reimbursement for up to two end-of-season awards (plaques or trophies) per team.

Beyond this club-wide support, our individual teams also actively fundraise to provide specific assistance for things like:

• Apparel and equipment
• Team meals
• Camps
• Off-Season Leagues and contests
• Team banquets
